Time to act on bullying in schools

To hear education administrators tell it, you’d think simply saying there was “zero tolerance” for bullying or assaults at their schools made it so.

But recent high profile assaults against students and a new survey conducted by CBC News make it clear that’s not the case.

Indeed, it would appear that many educators don’t know what is happening beneath their noses, and even when they are warned they often fail to act.
