Zack Kassian hungry to prove he’s worthy of Connor McDavid’s wing

When there are questions about the first line, not many people would expect Zack Kassian, with the tattoos, missing chicklets and occasionally maniacal disposition on the ice, to be the answer.

Not unless the question was “who are we going to get to beat up that guy on the other team’s first line?”

But there he was, on the opening day of Edmonton Oilers training camp, back in one of the most coveted line-up spots in the NHL – on the wing with Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl.
